Catholic University Hosts 16th Edition of PUSAG Games

Fiapre: The 16th edition of the Private Universities Students Association of Ghana (PUSAG) games has commenced at the Catholic University of Ghana (CUG)'s main campus located in Fiapre within the Sunyani West Municipality. This five-day event, which will conclude on Friday, June 7, 2025, features competitions in football, basketball, volleyball, and indoor games, all under the theme 'Empowering unity and youth development through sports'. According to Ghana News Agency, Professor Daniels Obeng-Ofori, the Vice Chancellor of CUG, inaugurated the games, emphasizing the role of sporting activities in promoting peace, development, and unity. He remarked that the PUSAG games serve as a platform for motivating private universities to enhance their sporting infrastructure. The universities participating in the event include Nduom University of Business and Technology, Methodist University, KAAF University, CUG, Garden City University, Presbyterian University, and the Evangelical Presbyterian University.
