Stéphanie Joubert sings at the Alliance Française

On the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day, Stéphanie Joubert is singing at the Alliance Française des Seychelles this Wednesday, March 8 from 6 p.m.

Better known by her stage name Stefani, she is a poet who has greatly contributed to the development and promotion of poetry in the Seychelles. President of the BlingBlingPoetry Association, she shares her knowledge with the youngest to encourage them to indulge in poetic art.

The only female artist in the Seychelles to interpret poetry to music, she defines herself as a polyglot poet who is sensitive to the subjects of society. She participates in many local concerts and has already performed in Mauritius, Reunion and South Africa. In addition to these concerts, she wrote an anthology of her poems, Poenm pour en nouvo sezon .

Stefani is also an actress; indeed, she has already acted in several plays and local short films.

For this concert dedicated to International Women’s Rights Day, she will preview a few tracks from her next album Tiens-moi la main , which will be released in the coming weeks. She will be accompanied by 4 singers and poets Carol Belle and LourraBarra, as well as Vanessa Songwar-Perine and Sephora Souffe.

The concert will be held at the Alliance Française des Seychelles today Wednesday, March 8, at 6 p.m. and admission is free.
