Seychelles: The Office of the President has announced the appointment of Mr Suleiman Athanasius as Registrar General, effective from 1st August 2026.
According to African Press Organization, Mr Athanasius was previously appointed as Deputy Registrar General on 9th March 2026. He possesses a Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance from the International Compliance Association and has completed specialized training in anti-money laundering and asset management coordination.
Mr Athanasius has been with the Registrar General's office for 10 years. During his tenure, he has contributed to strengthening Seychelles' registration systems, supported legislative reforms, and improved the delivery of public services.
