The Office of the President yesterday announced the appointment of Sarah Romain as the new chief executive of the Seychelles Petroleum Company Limited (Seypec) effective from the February 1, 2023.

Mrs Romain has 27 years of experience working in both the public and private sectors.

She joined Seypec in 2010, as assistant commercial manager and has since held several leadership positions within the same company. Until most recently she was the acting chief executive of Seypec.

The appointment was made following the recommendation of the Seypec board after a thorough interview process of all candidates who had applied.
