Addis Ababa: Preparations for the successful hosting of the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union and the 46th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council is well underway, according to Foreign Affairs Ministry of Ethiopia. State Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairperson of the AU Summit National Committee, Ambassador Birtukan Ayano, led a discussion with representatives from over 30 institutions of the National Committee to review activities and preparations for the summit.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, Ambassador Birtukan emphasized the diplomatic significance of hosting the African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and its role in strengthening multilateral relations across the continent. Director General of Protocol Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Melaku Bedada, outlined strategies to ensure the summit’s success.

lace from February 12-13, 2025.
