Parliament discusses humanitarian situation , effects of aggression & blockade

The parliament chaired by Speaker Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, discussed a number of issues related to humanitarian situation in Yemen.

The effects of the aggression repercussions ,blockade and economic war waged by the aggression countries to double the Yemeni people suffering and raise the prices of food commodities and medicines.

The Council stressed the importance of activating periodic control over the prices of goods and services, and searching for effective solutions and remedies for many problems. In order to alleviate the burdens that have burdened the Yemeni citizen.

The parliament stressed the importance of uniting efforts and integrating performance in the battle of construction, to confront the economic war waged by the aggression coalition, with the aim of undermining the will and determination of the Yemenis who have stood firm for eight years.

The Council listened, in the presence of the State for Parliamentary Minister and Shura Council Affairs, Dr. Ali Abu Haliqa, to the message of the Speaker of the Council addressed to the President of the National Salvation Government, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, regarding the government’s presence to discuss a number of issues related to the citizens’ livelihood, including the prices of foodstuffs, medicines, fuel, electricity, and water, the performance of Special funds, their plans and programs in accordance with the laws of their establishment.

The letter also included the necessity of discussing some problems related to land issues of citizens, state property, endowments, public and higher education issues, public freedoms, and the extent of the concerned authorities’ commitment to the constitution and the laws in force.

As well as discussing activating the role of the local authority in the capital’s secretariat, provinces, districts, and discussing health issues as general cleanliness, traffic regulation, and completing the demarcation of cars and motorcycles.
