Lospitalite – Lafyerte Sesel

The Tourism department has re-opened registration for all tourism businesses wishing to register on the Lospitalite Lafyerte Sesel, Service Excellence programme. The new deadline to register is now at 11.59 tomorrow night (Wednesday March 30).

This programme was launched at the beginning of 2022 and so far more than 100 establishments/businesses have registered in the Service Excellence Programme.

By registering, the person/company will automatically join the Lospitalite Awards programme and will stand a chance to win a prize in the awards ceremony

The desired outcome of such a programme is to rebuild Seychelles’ culture of Service Excellence, ensuring that every individual, whether in the public, private and parastatal sector or still in schools, understand that it is our collective responsibility to have and to always display the right attitude so as to cultivate the ethos of service excellence.

Speaking of the reopening of the registration, Paul Lebon, director-general for Destination Planning and Development, said: “The response received from local tourism businesses to our Lospitalite – Lafyerte Sesel campaign has even surpassed our own ambitious expectations. We have incessantly received calls and emails from enthusiastic tourism businesses, that unfortunately did not get the opportunity to register before February’s deadline. Encouraged by the overwhelming interest and commitment of these partners, we have therefore taken the decision to re-open the registration process, albeit for a limited period of time.

“We appreciate the passion and determination shown which certainly encapsulates the spirit that underpins Lospitalite: LAFYERTYE SESEL!”
