Guidance on mixing of households

As of yesterday, March 1, 2022, mixing of households is permitted, but it is important to ensure that measures are in place so that family gatherings are conducted safely and that vulnerable persons are protected at all times.

Highly recommended:

1. All household members 12 years and above, including those who are pregnant, should be fully vaccinated.

2. Avoid close physical contact, including hugging and kissing, with people who do not live in the same household as you.

3. Avoid eating or drinking from the same recipient or sharing utensils.

4. Maintain good ventilation and preferably organise activities outdoors as much as possible.

5. Maintain good environmental and personal hygiene (washing/sanitisation of hands, disinfecting frequently touched surfaces).

Household mixing must not be done in the following circumstances:

1. Household gatherings should be postponed if any person in the hosting household is in isolation or quarantine.

2. Any person who is in isolation, quarantine or having symptoms should not attend a gathering.
