Last Saturday, the teachers of the French department of the Ecole de Rivière Anglaise Secondary organized a football tournament for the students of level S1 of this school. The teams included students, parents and teachers.

There were four teams.

Indeed, this tournament was intended to build relationships between students, parents and teachers in an atmosphere of relaxation and conviviality. Also, the sport theme is treated at the level of S1 in the teaching of the French language. The tournament was also an opportunity for these young students to showcase their footballing talent.

The initiative was very well appreciated by the school management as well as by the children and their parents. We would like to thank the National Sports Council (NSC) for giving us permission to use the La Promenade football pitch. Our thanks also go to the physical education teachers at the school who ensured the smooth running of the tournament. Finally, we thank the students and parents for their active participation.

It is certain that the tournament was a great success given the positive comments we received from parents and students. The wish is to continue to organize such events for our students. Tournament winners will be awarded at the end of the school year.
