Seychelles NATION was informed that the cyclist involved in an accident at Ma Joie, where a car collided with his bicycle, is actually a 50-year-old visitor and not in his 20s as was published in yesterday’s newspaper.

The accident occurred around 10am on Tuesday, August 10, and involved the visitor who had been riding his bicycle on the main road and a Seychellois driver who was coming down from the Ma Joie hill.

There were no casualties although the cyclist was brought to the hospital for medical examination and was subsequently released.
