” Seyselwa sister and brother ,

“This Christmas I was inspired by the words of a carol that has become very popular – ‘ Like a candle flame’ – ‘Like a candle flame’.

“His words have a powerful message about how this little candle flame can shine in the darkness and win victory over darkness. When we let this little flame of all of us, we will be filled with the Spirit of God and our lives will be transformed because of us to live Emmanuel – God with us.

“A question is also asked – Can this little flame make the whole world shine with the love of God so that his light will illuminate the world of humanity?”

“Let’s have deep words and two years between us to dive into the reality of our lives to see if this is the true light that came into the world as a baby, in other words, this little candle flame is shining in our lives? This is the secret of our hearts that should also be a reflection for us next.

“In this moment where we all gather to celebrate Christmas, my prayer is that we all, let the light of God enter our lives to show us the best path for our lives, give us blessings to break down the walls of Jericho in this world and give us the true spirit of a servant who loves his neighbors as much as he loves his own body.

“O-thousands of our tribulations, sufferings and joys, always look to that which is greater than us – our creator. Let’s not count on our own human strength, because we won’t get far. But rather let the little flame guide us to the one who will fill us with his love and his inspiration.

“I imagine that Christmas will not be a celebration for them because of their health, because they have lost someone they loved or because of bad news they have received. I share your suffering and I ask that the light illuminates you.

“For those of you who are in joy, I ask that the light of this little candle will make your joy complete.

“Friends, allow the candle flame to burn in your hearts and bring new hope as its light glows before you to illuminate your paths. May this Christmas unite you with your loved ones and may joy abound in your homes.

“Dear friend, my prayer for each of you is to renew our faith in the good, helping others on the path of life. May the candlelight of our Savior’s birth shine in our lives and inflame us with love.
