Bravo Restaurant donates R10,000 to President’s Village

As we are nearing the festive season, Bravo Restaurant has made a generous donation of R10,000 to the President’s Village.

On behalf of the President’s Village and the National Council for Children (NCC), Brigitte Balette, director of the President’s Village, thanked the restaurant for the generous donation.

“This shows how the organisation is interested in the lives of our children in the village and we hope that others will follow pace.”

The money will be used mainly to buy gifts for the children as they want. “Usually we have a budget to buy gifts for our 30 children and they often want something special. And the money will be used mainly for that,” shared Ms Balette.

The President’s Village already has a calendar of activities for the holiday month and the children will be invited to various activities.

“Our restaurant ran a competition for Black Friday where all clients of Bravo left their receipts at the end and a draw was done where the winner won R10,000. The winner had also to choose a charitable organisation of their own to donate another R10,000 and she chose the President’s Village. With the arrival of Christmas we hope that this donation will bring joy to the hearts of the children,” said Daniel Siméon, manager at Bravo Restaurant.

Mr Siméon shared that after the pandemic, which affected many businesses, they are getting back to normal business and they are back with their corporate social responsibility events.
