The residents of the town of Bogandé carried out, on Monday August 12, 2024, works of general interest on the crossing slab which provides access to the sector 1 cemetery.
Faced with the significant deterioration of the crossing slab of the only access route to the cemetery in sector 1 of the town of Bogandé, the residents of the locality mobilized on Monday August 12, 2024 to undertake repair work.
According to local residents, accidents have been noted in funeral processions due to the state of the base, which has been severely damaged by rainwater. Before the work, it had become impossible to access the cemetery by vehicle.
The work therefore consisted of blocking the damaged parts using bags filled with sand in order to facilitate the passage of vehicles.
On this occasion, the prefect, president of the special municipal delegation of Bogandé, Taugolo Paré, came to encourage the workers, accompanied by his two vice-presidents.
Thanks to the work, the raft is once again passable. However, it is necessa
ry that construction work on a bridge be undertaken quickly to definitively resolve the accessibility problem in the area.
