From now on, if you want to know what the activities of the Beau Vallon primary school are, you simply have to click on beauvallonpri.com.
Yesterday, the school officially launched its website and this is to mainly allow the school community and the world outside to gain access to the school.
The head teacher of the school, Julianna Agathine, explained that with the website, the school will be more visible in terms of what it offers.
“We used to have a page on the social media which was used for daily news. Upon demand from parents and the community, we have found it fitting that with the website, we can share as much information as we can. It was also one of my personal targets as a head teacher to make the school more visible in that form which allows the parents/students/teachers and community can access it 24/7.”
While talking about the process of the creation of the website, the deputy head teacher, Sheryl Kilindo, noted that a website committee was created to validate every process of it.
“With the way the new technology is always changing and strengthening its offerings, we felt it was time to give our parents and students the best possible deal as our Minister for Education, Dr Justin Valentin, keeps repeating in every speech. Our new school website is a huge step forward, streamlining the way we convey information to parents and post the most current school schedule and notices.”
The website contains testimonials, articles, celebrations at schools and the different activities.
The website was designed by the Rotollo family who owns the Cyberwave computing 2000.
