Appointment of New Members to Seychelles Licensing Authority Appeals Board

Victoria: The Office of the President has announced the appointment of the Seychelles Licensing Authority Appeals Board. Ms Joëlle Perreau has been re-appointed as Chairperson of the Board. The other members appointed to the Appeals Board include Mrs Kimberly DOffay, Mrs Frederika Confait-Poussou, and Mrs Sashi Deenu. According to African Press Organization, the Appeals Board, established under Section 18 of the Licenses Act 2010, is tasked with hearing and determining appeals against certain decisions made by the Seychelles Licensing Authority concerning licensing matters. This board serves as an independent mechanism for individuals seeking a review of the Authority's decisions. The newly appointed Board Members will serve a three-year term, which will commence on 1 September 2026.
