African Defense Ministers Visit INSA in Addis Ababa


Addis Ababa: Participants of the First African Defense Ministers Conference visited the Information Network Security Administration (INSA) as part of the three-day event taking place in Addis Ababa, themed “Africa: United in Peace, Strong in Security.”

The visit aimed to share Ethiopia’s best practices in security sector reform.

The program for the event outlines that they will also visit Artificial Intelligence Institute, Ethiopian Federal Police Commission, and the National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS).

On Wednesday, attendees, including African defense ministers, senior military officers, and military attachés based in Addis Ababa, toured the Headquarters of the Ethiopian Air Force and the Defense Engineering Industry Corporation in Bishoftu, Oromia region.

The objective of the visit is to enhance collaboration among African countries in the sector.

Ethiopia’s Defense Minister Aisha Mohamed and other senior military officials accompanied the visit.
