A 20-year-old boy from the Anse Royale district was formally charged yesterday morning in the Anse Royale Magistrate’s Court for burglary and theft.
This incident happened on July 29, 2022 in the Pointe Au Sel area.
Following the investigation in this case, CID officers from the Anse Aux Pins police station along with a group of officers from the Anse Royale police station set up an operation in Dimans where the accused was arrested. The police managed to recover most of the items that were reported stolen in this case.
The court ordered that the accused remain in the Montagne Posée prison until August 16, 2022, when he expects to appear before the same court.
